This one day class builds from the fundamental Spline principles taught in our “Bodywork and Surfacing” class.
Get a comprehensive understanding of how shape, surface and form is designed. How subtle changes and refinement influence reflections, highlights and paint presentation.
This workshop is ideally suited to those already familiar with the refinish process and/or have an insight to metal shaping. The focus is on the necessary understanding of surface and shape that can be pushed to perfection. Having the ability to know exactly which way, and where, to push and pull shape to the right form.

Meet our Experts:
- Peter – specialises in high-level surface finishing. Peter has over 25 years’ experience in surface preparation and has previously worked in the development of concept cars for General Motors Global, Holden, Ford, and Toyota.
- Lincoln – has over 20 years’ experience in automotive paint. Lincoln has managed the fabrication department at GM Holden Design studio where he began as a painter. You may have seen his work on vehicles such as Holden Efijy, Holden Hurricane, GMC Denali XT, Buick Avenir Concept, Chevrolet Concept Ute.
